TRANSFERBCN / LEGAL INFORMATION
Terms & Conditions
Booking, service and customer information for TransferBCN private transfers.
1. Who we are
TransferBCN is the trading name used on transferbcn.es for private transfer and chauffeur-service enquiries and bookings.
[COMPLETE: registered legal name, registered address, company registration and tax/VAT number, public register details and any applicable authorisation or professional information.] Contact: info@transferbcn.es.
2. Our role and the service provider
Services may include airport transfers, city rides, hourly chauffeur journeys and group transport. A request is assessed against the route, vehicle requirements and availability.
[CONFIRM: whether TransferBCN contracts as the transport provider, an intermediary, or under another arrangement; identify the contracting carrier, who receives payment, and who handles service complaints before the customer commits.] These terms must match that confirmed model.
3. Requesting and confirming a booking
Provide accurate pickup and destination addresses, dates and local times, passenger numbers, luggage and contact details. Include flight or cruise details where relevant and disclose planned stops.
[CONFIRM THE CONTRACT-FORMATION STEP: distinguish an automatic receipt from acceptance and specify when a binding booking is created.] The customer must be able to review the journey, total price and applicable conditions before committing. Keep a copy of the confirmation.
4. Prices and payment
The booking offer should identify the total price and currency, applicable taxes and known compulsory charges. Requested extras, additional stops and any chargeable waiting must be explained before acceptance.
[COMPLETE: accepted payment methods, payment recipient, deposit or full-payment timing, balance due date, invoice procedure, and charges for agreed extras.] A price for one route or vehicle does not establish the price of another journey.
5. Pickup details, flights and waiting
Check the meeting instructions supplied with your confirmed booking and keep your contact number available. Tell us promptly about flight changes, cancellations, diversions or changes to your itinerary.
[COMPLETE: flight-monitoring scope, included waiting allowance, when waiting starts, additional waiting rates, contact attempts and no-show criteria.] Flight monitoring and waiting benefits apply only as expressly confirmed for the service.
6. Passengers, luggage and special requirements
Include children and infants in the passenger count and list suitcases, cabin bags, pushchairs and oversized equipment. Vehicle capacity and luggage space must be suitable for the confirmed journey.
Request child seats and accessibility arrangements in advance. Explain practical requirements without sending unnecessary medical information. [CONFIRM: child-seat options and charges, accessible vehicle availability, assistance scope and arrangements when requirements cannot be met.]
7. Vehicle category and changes to the journey
The confirmed booking should identify the vehicle category. Images illustrate categories unless a specific vehicle is expressly guaranteed.
[COMPLETE: vehicle-substitution process and customer options if an equivalent vehicle is unavailable.] Extra stops, route changes, longer service durations and other additions require agreement, including any price change.
8. Hourly service, minibuses and coaches
For hourly and group services, specify the itinerary, passenger count, luggage and planned stops. Share venue access requirements and any timing constraints before the quote is accepted.
[COMPLETE: minimum hire duration, included distance, overtime calculation, parking and toll treatment, breaks and group-booking conditions.] Any special conditions must be provided before acceptance.
9. Changes, cancellations and refunds
Send change or cancellation requests to info@transferbcn.es with the booking reference. Keep the acknowledgement and contact us again if receipt is unclear.
[COMPLETE: cancellation deadlines and time zone, charges at each stage, change fees, non-refundable items where lawful, refund method and processing period, and no-show treatment.] Do not publish this draft until these rules agree with checkout and booking confirmations. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights.
10. Service disruption and provider cancellation
If a confirmed journey cannot be provided, communicate the situation promptly and explain the available options. Any alternative arrangement or changed price must be agreed with the customer.
[COMPLETE: refund and alternative-transport procedure if TransferBCN or the carrier cancels.] Disruption caused by traffic, weather or events outside reasonable control must be handled under the agreed booking conditions and applicable law; it does not automatically remove all customer remedies.
11. Passenger conduct and belongings
Passengers must follow reasonable safety instructions, use restraints where required and avoid conduct that endangers the driver, other passengers or the vehicle. Do not carry unlawful or dangerous items.
Check for belongings before leaving. Report lost property with the journey details. Any return arrangement and associated cost should be agreed. [CONFIRM: complaint and evidence process for alleged damage or cleaning charges.]
12. Responsibility and customer rights
Responsibility for the booking and transport must follow the confirmed contractual roles and applicable law. These terms do not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
[LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED: insert a proportionate liability clause reflecting the actual operating model and insurance arrangements.] Do not use a blanket disclaimer for all delays, missed connections, personal injury or third-party acts.
13. Complaints and dispute resolution
For a complaint, contact info@transferbcn.es with your booking reference, a description of the issue and relevant evidence. Avoid sending payment-card details.
[COMPLETE: complaint address, acknowledgement and response procedure, and any applicable consumer complaint forms or alternative dispute-resolution obligations.] [LEGAL REVIEW: governing law and jurisdiction, preserving mandatory consumer protections.]
14. Website use, privacy and policy updates
Use the website lawfully and provide information you are entitled to share. Do not make fraudulent requests, interfere with the booking system or misuse content belonging to TransferBCN or its licensors.
Personal information is addressed in our Privacy Policy, and browser storage in our Cookie Policy. Updated terms should carry an effective date and should not retrospectively replace the agreed terms of an existing booking without a lawful basis.
